Asian style, perhaps Burmese, with Foo Dogs/Lions and Phoenix birds on each panel. All hand done with each design slightly different. There are places where the lacquer has chipped off , but this just adds to the patina of an antique piece. The reverse of the piece is solid red lacquer. Measures approximately 34 1/2" wide when fully extended by 16 1/2" tall by 1/2" thick. Does not lay flat when opened. Please see the photos for more details and the actual condition.
