Vitrocrisa, established in Monterrey, Mexico in 1909 - over time released their brands - Pyr-O-Rey, Dynaware, Termocrisa - competed with well-known manufacturers, Corning-Pyrex, Anchor-Hocking - Fire-King and others, by releasing similar products with many very similar fired-on graphics-pattern-designs as well.Offered here is a - Vintage-RETRO Termocrisa - Set-of-Three, Opal-White Milk-Glass, Custard Cups – with Gray Swimming-Swan and Turquoise-Blue Water Graphics - in MOST-excellent - barely-used condition (look unused).ALL glass surfaces are highly-glossy, shiny and clean. There are No obvious chips, cracks - only a couple tiny flea-bites on the upper inner edges, likely from storage or handling; No significant stains, contact-marks, scratches, nor rubs; just some fine rubs, scratches, and incidental contact marks. This glass has fabulous transluscence.These Custard-Cups are round at the top edge - with a bead to the outer edge; tapering from the top edge to the bottom - rounding-under to the base seat-rim; the center-base is slightly recessed. There are three molded bands to the exterior side-surfaces, above the fired-on graphics pattern motif. There is molded scalloping glass to the interior surface beneath the top edge going down to where the banding begins on the exterior surface.The High-Gloss, Band-Style, Swimming-Swan Graphics are fired on to both sides of each Custard Cup - they are crisp, clear, and complete. The graphics motif depicts a stylized, deep-gray swimming swam flanked on either side with stylized, turquoise-blue, waves of water reaching to within ~1" of the water motif from the other side. One of the swan and water images has some colour release or rub-off - could be as manufactured as poorly contacted when applied.The Custard-Cups are embossed on the base - "DYNAWARE; #" – where the production #’s are – 3; 8; 19.Each Custard-Cup measures - ~3 3/8" in diameter, across the top edge; 2 1/4 - 3/8" in height; 1 5/8 - 3/4" in diameter, across the base seat-rim.SOME INTERESTING INFORMATION –Vitrocrisa Crimesa -Vitrocrisa Crimesa of South America manufactured glasswares, primarily available to the Latin American market. They manufactured clear glass and milk glass products - in direct competition with other companies entering the market along a similar time-line - CORNING, Anchor-Hocking, Federal Glass, McKee ... Vitrocrisa manufactured beginning in 1909 in MEXICO, becoming Crisa in 1995. They were involved in some joint projects with Libbey in 1997 and were acquired by Libbey in 2006. Their best known and most common graphics pattern was "Brown Daisy".
