Description: This is a reverse painted scene of a young man with a water jug and a sheep or goat walking by his side into a country village. The piece is painted on glass and backed with a board, which looks to have been gesso or plastered on the edge some of that has broken away see pic 8 & 9. There appears to be no signature, it is vintage, and the piece was hanging by this small hook on back shown in pic 7, personally a frame would be very nice for this piece.
