Vintage RIDDell RK4 Style Green Bay Packers Football Helmet Paul Hornung

Description: For your consideration is this Football Helmet customized with decals and striping of the Green Bay Packers of the early 1960s, and customized to represent the helmet worn during that part of his career by All-Time great and Hall of Famer, Paul Hornung. See photos of Hornung for reference only and not included in the auction. Helmet is built by Historic Helmets to represent the famous early 1960s configuration of the RK suspension helmet with the familiar and iconic flared ear shell and even has been customized with iconic “G” Packers decals and correct size and font numbers as worn by the Packers during that era. Helmet also an original RIDDell BD-9 facemask worn by Hornung and many Packers greats. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT CLAIMING THIS HELMET WAS ISSUED OR USED BY Mr. Hornung or the Packers. Please see photos for condition of helmet. Helmet is like new and only spent time on the shelf, so has one very small nick, but otherwise in excellent condition. Helmet did have a wear bar but it was cut out when we received it. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field! All of our helmets are for display purposes only!
