This brooch features an intricate thistle design with a citrine glass stone. The back of the brooch features Allison's "RA" hallmark along with "Scotland" and assay marks from Glasgow that date the brooch to the year 1951. SIZE: The brooch measures approximately 1 7/8" in diameter. It weighs 10 grams. CONDITION: The brooch is in average to good condition for its age. The pin backing and safety clasp are present and still function well. The Sterling portions are free of any noticeable damage. However, the citrine glass stone does have some surface abrasions/scratching to the front and some tiny flea-bite size chips to a couple of the faceted edges and to the right edge.
