Vintage Royal Winton Old Cottage Chintz Elite Creamer & Sugar Bowl Set

Description: The Old Cottage Chintz pattern is by Royal Winton, covered top to bottom in an array of pink, yellow, and blue flowers all accented with gold detailing. First produced in 1932, this would be the older pre-1960 version with a cream background. This is an Elite style set consisting of sugar bowl with strawberry-handled lid (approximately 4 inches handle to handle, 3 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/4 inches tall with lid) and creamer (approximately 4 1/8 inches spout to handle, 3 1/8 inches in diameter, 2 inches tall). Each is marked on the bottom with an older Royal Winton stamp in green and pattern name in blue. Excellent vintage condition: no cracks or chips, minor pattern wear and age wear to gold; glaze crazing throughout.
