Description: About This Item: Up for sale is the Rumford Modern Methods of Cooking booklet, prepared by The House of Sarah Field Splint for the Rumford Company. 64 pages with a lot of instructional info in addition to a wide variety of recipes. Measures 7 3/8 inches by 5 inches. We believe this dates to 1928, though could not confirm. The covers, spine and edges have wear, darkening from age and some light stains. Front cover appears to have had something stuck to it at one point, as what looks like a tear is not though far right edge does have a small section missing. Pages are intact with no tears and one page with top corner crease or fold. No writing or markings found except writing on the front page. Pages have some stains, mainly along the bottom edge.
