Inside of the anchor is the USSR Naval flag in red, white and blue enamel; a large gold tone navy ship, a globe in light blue enamel and a map of Russia in bright red enamel. Around the globe is gold tone lettering with a dark blue enamel background. Google Translator translates the writing as "FOR THE TRANSITION OF THE EXCAVATOR" and "VICE ADMIRAL DROZD". The globe also contains the date of 1972. On the back of the pin is an unknown maker's mark. SpecsMeasures 1 3/8 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches tall and weighs 5.0 grams. ConditionComes in very good vintage-used condition with minimal wear to the enamel and no dents, bends or breaks noticed. The pin needle is sharp, straight and latches as intended.
