Description: Vintage Sanyo RP 1250 Transistor Portable Pocket Radio Wrist Strap Ear Plugs I put new batteries in this radio and it buzzed and the volume worked. The longer the batteries stayed in the radio the better the radio stations came in. I was able to pull in 4 stations. Good reception for being in the basement. The ear plugs did need to be adjusted to hear out of them ... they worked fineThe battery connections do need to be cleaned off as there is a green patina on the posts...see photos. The radio also needs a good cleaning. It does show signs of use but not abuse
