Vintage Schwinn 24" Hornet -Original Paint Unrestored Survivor

Description: My 1963 OG paint 24" Schwinn Hornet - selling all my collection - this is one of my Fav riders - I have hundreds of miles clocked on this bike -always had a thing for the 24's I'm a shorter dude so it's a good fit - more than that they are lighter and more nimble on the road - tighter trying and easier to transport as well a great travel bike for the beach or camping etc-im the 3rd owner of the bike - when I picked It up it was pretty much all there - it had the wrong seat - a coppertone middle weight rhat I just sold here last week -replaced with a clean messenger-also the bars which were the granny style -rusty with 80's foam grips -put apes and nos grips -nos pedals also - scrapped out the S2 white and very rusty rims with some nice old-school wald drop centers that roll true and straight wrapped with new Duros and tubes - after a very weather checked westwind exploded on my way to work - the front rack is original - I added a matching rear rack - this bikes rides so nice and comfortable - a little clean up and grease up - ready to ride -gets alot of attention and nice compliments on the road I commuted on this bike for several months -paint and decals have some fading and dings - but still beams in the sun - I just wipe it .down with a little amor.all chrome is decent with some pitting but shines up nice - fenders are straight with a few small dings there are and some little touch upsdone by one of the previous owner -please look at all photos -ask any questions you want before purchase or for additional photos - i have the original S2 rims if you want them - I will throw in on on the deal - but will be have to be shipped separately & you pay for the ride & ican send photos of them if requested
