Description: This is a vintage Sears Roebuck and Co. Allstate car window swamp cooler. The rope broke but the end is included as seen in the pictures. The condition can be seen in the pictures. This is a universal swamp cooler and can be used on most vehicles including Ford, Oldsmobile, Dodge, Chevy, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Chrysler, Buick, Pontiac, Packard, Plymouth, Studebaker, Hudson, and Mercury cars and trucks. This was popular in 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, and 1954. I have not tried to use it and can’t confirm that it works.
