Vintage Second Place Optimist Oratorical Award Ribbon & Medal 1987

Description: Second place medal, awarded to me in 1987 in the Optimist International Oratorical Competition. Medal is octagonal and made of unknown metal. Approximate dimensions are 2.5" x 2.9" x 0.15". Medal with ribbon weight: 3 oz. Small casting defect on rear of medal, with small bubble-like areas are found on midline in the bottom half. These are small (largest is 0.11" wide) and did not result in re-casting of the medal.
