vintage SHEAFFER capped ballpoint pen, c.1980—brushed aluminum—Coral logo

Description: Offered for your consideration is a vintage SHEAFFER ballpoint pen, made in the USA c.1980. I don’t know the model of this unusual, capped ballpoint, but it is nicely crafted from brushed aluminum with black plastic clip and fore end. It bears the logo of a company named CORAL atop the SHEAFFER-signed clip. So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this very nice pen should become yours. This SHEAFFER ballpoint is in clean, excellent condition. It measures 5¼” long capped, 6” with cap posted atop, and 7/16” at widest. There are no dings or scratches, just some practically invisible marks from use over the years. Plus, the clip rests tightly on the cap with no gap and halves join together smoothly, properly. It doesn’t appear that this pen received very much use. Overall, it presents exceptionally well. Lastly, this pen takes a standard SHEAFFER ballpoint cartridge but the one that’s installed currently is empty of ink. I don’t have any SHEAFFER ballpoint refill spares otherwise I would include one, but they are available at just about every office supply stores and on eBay.
