Description: Here's a sweet vintage Shenango China fruit / sauce / dessert bowl made in California in 1969. The small round ceramic bowl has the recurring Pavilion pattern of orange and brown blocks on white, with a thick rolled rim and a glossy finish. The discontinued design is also known as SHO89. It measures 4.5 inches in diameter, 1.25 inches in height and weighs 5.6 ounces. It's the perfect size for serving berries and other small fruit, as well as sauces. The heavy restaurant ware is a solid workhorse able to handle heavy use. Condition is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing - only light utensil marks from it's over 50 years of commercial dining use. There's a light ruff spot on the rim and a divot on the underside foot - both are slight manufacturing blemishes, see last photo. The backstamp is printed, and reads "Shenango China, USA by Interpace, H-27". The date code places its production July to Dec 1969. Thanks for looking
