Description: Beautifully refinished antique solid mahogany jewelry/storage box. Symbols on top represent Sigma Tau Phi. Box measures 7 5/8" long x 4 5/8" deep x 4 3/4" tall. Inside is 6 7/8" long x 3 7/8" deep x 3 1/8" tall. Sides are 3/8" thick and assembled using a splined miter joint. Beautiful original inlay. Hinges in good working order. Exterior refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. New royal blue velvet lines the inside and black felt protects the bottom, Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood.
