Description: A whimsical vintage signed Parvenue brass brooch pin. The theme of this brooch is a classic Aesop's Fable The Tortoise and the Hare. It has a copper tone with dangle charms. On the top rectangular part of brooch is a tortoise being chased by the hare. Charms are the #1 with a diamond shaped charm, heart lock and key, ballet slippers with bows and red enamel heart charm, opera glasses that move in and out of the case, and a feather/leaf with diamond shaped charm. 2” w; 1.75” L with charms. Needs a little polish if preferred. Some marks from age which add to the uniqueness.
