VINTAGE Singer Anamorphic 16-D Camera Lens--- Movie Motion Picture Projection?

Description: I got this lens with a bunch of other stuff (the second one of two) and I don't know anything about it or what it's used for. All I know is that when I look through it--- it reminds me of the Hitchcock film--- "Vertigo." It has some curved and Oval lens elements inside so when I rotate it with my wrist, the scene goes wacky like a Fun-House mirror--- like I had two too many Vodka Gimlets. I don't know if that's what it's supposed to do, or what kind of camera it can mount to, but that's what I see. The thread end is about 50 or 51mm--- I don't have anything to test it to fit, but it's bigger than 49mm, and smaller than 52mm. New Info: Could this be a Projection Lens? For Cinemascope movie Projectors? I dont know either way. It's in used Condition but still pretty nice--- the Exterior has some very minor nicks and paint wear, but no dings or dents. The Glass is fairly nice--- the front and back elements are clean, but there is some dust and and a little fungus behind the front elements--- one 1/4 inside spot off to the side, and a couple fainter blemishes toward the middle. (See the last photo) The focus seems OK--- but I don't know because I don't have a camera to mount it to so I don't know what to expect. So because it's not quite Mint, with modest deficiencies, being sold as a Part, or Oddity, but partly Unknown.... so it is bargain priced. THIS is a an OLD Lens, very much Used so it has imperfections. Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.
