Description: Beautifully restored and repurposed solid wood (poplar or maple) document/card storage box. Dimensions are 8 3/4" long x 10" deep x 6 1/4" tall. Inside measures 8 1/4" wide x 9 3/8" deep x 5 1/8" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick wood and uses finger joints for strength. Original metal hinges and double lid supports are in good working order. Box was restored with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Inside fully lined with new green felt. Card holder is new. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood.
