Vintage Sterling Silver Eisenberg Original Brooch/Pin Clear Crystals Signed U

Description: For your consideration I am offering for sale a Gorgeous Vintage Sterling Silver Eisenberg Original Brooch/Pin Clear Crystals Signed U. I've owned this brooch for over 40 years, bought at an antique store. I've decided to finally part with it. The pin is an abstract design with a large somewhat ovoid-shaped Swarovski crystal, left-centered. Toward the bottom it's surrounded by petals of sterling embellished with crystals. Three ribbon-like pieces of sterling flow from the left side, each with multiple crystals. Above and below are curls of sterling dotted by crystals. Above and slightly to the right, larger and smaller rectangles of Swarovski crystals fan about the larger crystal. To the right of those is a leaf design inset with crystals, a cutout center emulating the veins of the leaf. This truly is a unique design, and I, personally, have not seen another like it. The pin-back works well, just a little stiff due to its age. The pin is approximately 2 1/4" long and approximately 1 1/2" high. I've read that Eisenberg used to have its pins stolen off its clothing line due to how exquisite they looked and were made, so they finally decided to sell the pins separately. The company was known for its replicas of 18th century fine jewelry. They certainly didn't cut corners when they created them!
