Description: Vintage Sterling Silver Quoc Turquoise Heart Earrings measuring approximately 7/8 Inch x just over 3/4 inch and weighing approximately 3.85 Grams Total. The earrings are a slightly domed stamped starburst pattern on a scallop edge heart. Set in a sawtooth edge bezel in the center of each earring is a heart shape either block turquoise or dyed howlite to simulate turquoise. The earrings are marked on the back "Q.T. with a copyright symbol for Quoc Turquoise Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., and "Sterling". They have oversized metal and plastic disc fasteners. There is a nice patina to the silver and they are blackened with tarnish. A great Native American / Southwest earring design for anytime wear. My father and my husbands father brought back many lovely pieces of jewelry, porcelain, clothing, perfumes, and household items to their new and future brides upon their return from Europe after WWII.
