Description: We have for sale a nice example of a Stover Number 8 cast iron waffle maker. Comes with the collar that the waffle maker sits in. The waffle iron appears complete. We've given it a good cleaning and restoration; It wasn't completely stripped down with lye, but my wife worked hard on it and it's in very nice shape - I'd be happy to cook with it as is. Marked STOVER 8 on the top, and Stover Mfg Co and Freeport ILL USA. Shows its use on the outside but the waffle pattern on the inside is in great shape and ready for use. No real pitting anywhere on the item. Only thing to mention is that one of the waffle iron handles seems bent up ever so slightly, which means that the two sides just barely don't make contact with each other.
