Description: Vintage Organ Grinder Bellhop Stuffed Monkey 12.5” With Display Stand. Pre-owned. Besides the normal age wear for this type of piece, in looking over the toy I noticed a few flaws that can be repaired pretty easily. The flaws include one holographic eye is missing, a small stain on the backside of the pants, and the tail needs a few stitches to sew it closed. It looks like the plastic shoe has been repaired (reattached). I photographed the flaws (see description photos). The monkey comes with the stand. This toy was made sometime between the 1940’s-1950’s and measures approximately 12.5”. The monkey’s stuffing feels like straw. This is a cute toy to add to a vintage collection.
