Whimsy and folk art charm abound on this adorable rectangle tray made by ceramicist Sue Bolt of Charlevoix, Michigan. Sue Bolt is a renowned artist and her ceramics, paintings, and prints are exhibited in many galleries and museums, and are in many public and private collections. The tray was estate-owned and is in good vintage condition. You will see an all over crackle to the glaze, but I believe this is intentional due to the uniformity of it. There is one little area of discoloration in the upper left corner. You will see a few areas where the pottery may have been gouged or chipped prior to glazing, but it was covered by glaze during production and isn’t considered a flaw. It measures 8 1/8” x 6 3/8”.
