Description: Selling this Vintage Symphony Professional alto saxophone. I believe it is a Martin stencil, judging by the beveled tone holes, but I am not an expert. The horn is in good shape for its age; all the keys and springs operate easily. The pads look to be in decent shape with no tears or holes, though I have trouble getting the lowest notes to sound clearly. I dropped a light inside and don't see any leaks, but I haven't done any work on it. Includes the original neck, a mouthpiece with metal cap, a set of 10 reeds (only one of which has been used), and a case in excellent condition. One key guard shows evidence of re-soldering (see pic). Otherwise, the horn is in good condition, with no dents. A few keys have worn finish. I think this horn is a good candidate for restoration. It will need work to get it into playable condition (though it already plays fairly well from low D to high F). I hope someone out there will give this beauty the love and care it needs to sing again.
