Description: How fantastic is this beautiful girl?! She does talk, but it's often garbled. However, the two phrases that occasionally come out clearly are: "Let's get together for dinner!" and "I think I'll call Ken!" She's really in very nice condition, so please do take a look at the photos and video and note the following details: Her speech is better when you regulate the speed of retraction of the pull string. I don't know if she's been repaired to talk or just still talks from long ago. She's had two hip replacements and a shoulder replacement (joint replacements done by my wonderful husband, my Barbie surgeon!), as these dolls are notorious for their brittle plastic and you'll often find them with their legs and/or arms broken off. So you can pose her legs and left arm confidently (although I'd still be careful anyway, but that's just me), but be extra careful with her right arm joint, because it's still original. Her holdin' hands both work Elbows both bend and hold pose. She's got greenish spots on both arms that come from a mechanism inside her arms reacting with her vinyl. Nothing to be done about that except have her wear long sleeves! She has a pin prick where the vinyl is still present but sticking up a little on her left elbow Legs bend and click softly 3 times, but like to hold that second position best. Some waviness of the vinyl of the legs. I see one dent/chew on her left outside ankle. She comes with her original white X stand, TV (antenna slightly bent), record player w/arm intact (no record, but decal is directly on where the record should be), suitcase, tray, 1 cup, telephone, green squishy Taiwan boots, her original outfit, and a replacement belt that I made. Her instructions are included. I'm not sure if they're just a copy or if they are the originals. Her jumpsuit is in fairly good condition, with a little dinginess at the straps (note: this outfit is NOT washable. It bleeds like crazy. I learned the hard way). Hair has been washed, conditioned, and styled. Eyelashes - she was missing some, so I replaced the missing ones. I left them maybe a little longer than her original lashes, but I kinda love it! Her vinyl on her head has hardened with age, but her head turns and she's great, just make sure you heat it up if you are going to remove it for any reason. My 86-year old Mom made her a special shrinky dink tag that shows her box! Smoke-free home. Orange chair is NOT included, it's just helping Barbie show all of her accessories. Feel free to ask questions and let me know if you need more photos. Check out my other vintage Barbie and friends listings, too, as I'm happy to combine shipping whenever possible. Thanks!
