Description: Vintage TEMPEST HI-FI DELUXE 12 TRANSISTOR AM RADIO Model AK1047 with Case. Made in Japan. It has an off-white plastic case with silver front. Comes with black leather carrying case. It requires a 9-volt battery for operation (not included). Measures 4-1/2" x 3" x 1-3/8" and weighs 9 ounces unpackaged. The radio powers up but only static is heard. There is a chip in the bottom corner of the outer case (see last picture). Battery not included. There are some scuff and scratch marks. Being sold "AS IS" for parts/repair.
