Description: This Gibson ukulele does play , but I am describing as for parts or restoration because it has some cracks and deserves some TLC. What I know: My daughter is a musician and she tuned it to see how it plays. (She is more experienced with violin.). It has a nice sound, but one of the pegs kept moving/ slipping. One of the pegs is different from the rest. It is wooden. It has some cracks. See photo. The back is NOT the same color as the rest of the wood/uke. I just added on a soft 21” black case I got off Amazon. Nothing fancy, inexpensive but I feel better having it in a case. What I think: My daughter thinks it is a soprano, same size as hers. I think a new back was put on it, since the back is obviously a different color. I can’t find any numbers or writing except “The Gibson” I think if you know what you are doing, you could have a great instrument here!
