Description: The design of this mola is probably simply abstract shapes. It does look vaguely like five peppers or pomegranates with crosses where the seeds would be. The three-colored pattern is bright and crisp but it has been worn by a Kuna woman, likely the maker. The four corners are folded over but no cloth is lost, it just needs ironing. You can see at the bottom edge that some floral printed fabric went into its creation. It is very detailed and busy. At about 13x18 the margins are wide and straight enough for framing or crafting. U.S. buyers only. [Boston Primitive]
