Description: Here we have a delightful and intriguing piece. This Vintage Tudor Oyster Regent 7933 dates to 1958 and features a spectacular honeycomb dial with the big rose logo. The colour of which has turned a beautiful tropical brown hue, best appreciated in the sunlight. The radium hands and lume plots remain strong and intact. Size wise, it weighs in at a svelte, yet wearable 33mm powered by a manual wind movement that’s running perfectly after being recently serviced. The case is gold filled (the oxidation you can see in some photos has been removed since as shown in the other photos) The watch is in overall fantastic condition for its age. It bears the hallmarks “K.B.” and “20” years which were import marks of New York Jeweller, Kaufer Bros. To note: with vintage Tudor, the majority of the parts are Rolex e.g. case and crown. It comes on made in USA, Gemex bracelet which is original to the watch when it was imported to the USA to be retailed there (commonly done, due to the policy of using a certain percentage of domestically made parts on watches back in the day). The bracelet is large, fitting up to an 18.5cm wrist. Apparently, it is adjustable though I have left it be as it wasn’t obvious how to size it using the clasp and my watch maker said he’d personally remove some links to do so, It’s gold filled and has oxidised to a very lovely rose gold hue.
