Description: These snowshoes and leather bindings are in excellent condition. They have seen very little use as evidenced by the closeup photos of the wood showing no whitening of the urethane protecting the wood. They were designed for both back country hiking in deep snow as well as on packed trails. Back when only wood snowshoes were available Vermont Tubbs was the go-to company for the best snowshoe. This pair was probably made in the 1960-80s before Tubbs went away from wood. What a shame.You don't have to be an elderly back woodsman/woman to look cool wearing vintage stuff.BTW it's okay to hang these on a wall for decoration.
