This lovely two piece wool wedding ensemble was found at an estate sale in Illinois in the late 1990s. Thank you Gil for saving me that chaotic day and rescuing all the vintage clothing you saved as well as me. I will always thank Gil for every piece I list. Pretty cream colored wool two piece ensemble. Small size bodice and tiny waistline on skirt. Possibly a young ladies Graduation ensemble due to it's simplistic styling, wedding or Sunday Best. Medium weight wool fabric accented with cream silk ribbon trims on the bodice. Lovely two piece wool Graduation ensemble. Simple medium weight wool fabric, silk ribbon adornments and lace trimmed bodice. Very small size, see bodice measurements in the Item Specifics section. Braid along lower front skirt has unraveled. Needs removed. Tight fitting bodice that has boning and cream silk ribbon trims. Hook and eye closure, long curved sleeves with cuffs. Very tight fitting garment. Tiny waistline on skirt. Skirt has a wide flair with a slight demi-traine. Lined inside with light brown cotton. Sturdy, but very tiny. Great display piece. Skirt has small area's of moth damage, mostly lower skirt, bodice has small area's of moth damage. Bodice left underside has come loose and needs re-stitched, follow the gathered sewing line. This attaches beneath the upper yoke collar. Lace yoke, some small breaks. All in all still sturdy and in good condition. Great display or frame in a large window box picture frame. All sales final.
