Vintage Victorian Revival Gold Plate Hand Painted Woman Portrait Brooch Cameo

Description: Up for sale is a vintage hand painted brooch featuring the portrait of a fashionable well coiffed lady. As is as found condition. I believe this is likely a Victorian/Georgian Revival piece from the 50s. Quite large, approx 2" long. Can be a brooch or a pendant. Some paint loss and wear, see photos. Some flaking in green part of dress. Frame looks to be gold plated metal, has a rose gold hue. Multiple areas of plating loss, particularly on edge of frame adjacent to porcelain, see photos. Metal frame is a bit dented and "wavy" edged in areas. Some dings and indents around edges. Towards bottom of portrait, can see a joins of the metal pieces. Twisted metal part of frame does not look gold plated. Back has extensive wear to backing finish. Outer frame has metal discoloration and wear. Pendant loop is hinged. Has plating loss and wear. Pin works. Discoloration to metal. May be remnants of Verdgris, this had a particularly nasty case of it. This is over 70 years old, it was worn, and thus shows signs of use and age. Please examine photos carefully, as they are part of the description. In all of my listings, I include at least one photo that shows the item next to a ruler.
