Description: Vintage Victorian Scales Of Justice Ornate Brass Marble Crystals Italy 20.5” 22” x 9” x 20 1/2” 8 lb 14.4 oz Glorious vintage Italian made Victorian style scale. This is a one of a kind masterpiece that came to me from the estate of a central/western NY gentleman who was an avid collector of antiques and vintage items. There is a sticker that’s hard to read near the base but it says “made in Italy” on part of it. The sticker looks early mid century to me but it could be older, It’s heavy and ornate and the crystals really sparkle in the light. I could see this as a holder of plants, candles, crystals, or just decor on its own. I’m not usually obsessed with scales but this one is hard to let go of. It’s really pretty and makes a bold statement. There is slight marking and wear and the metal has a darker patina. Please see pictures for condition detail. I will take the crystals and hanging dishes off for shipping. They are easily hung back up. I refund shipping if it’s less than estimated. If you’re near the east coast it’ll be a significant savings. I also utilize UPS and Fed Ex if it’s cheaper. I’m unable to estimate that cost on eBay. Please remember this is a very heavy large piece.
