Description: 1961 Vogue 12"Baby Dear designed by Eloise Wilkin Approximately 12" longFloppy newborn baby doll.Baby Dear is a very clean baby doll.She is a rescue and I will explainwhat this little tyke has been through.When I originally received herShe had no hair and her body was tornin places that would make repairing almost impossible.I was determined to save her.Lo and behold one of my clone babies that was in my bassinetunbeknownst to me when I received her, had the original Baby Dear 12" doll body in spotlessly clean condition. It does not squeak. A few loose hand stitches on the front tummy seam are evident. I will let the new mommy take care of that.So she donated her body to my new little Baby Dear orphan and received a newsimilar body for herself.Now all my little orphan needed was a wig or a re-root.She opted for a wig so she could be pretty right away. Her little wig is not glued on but pinned near her other rooting holesso it can be removed for re-root or changed for different colors and styles.She is a very happy baby and you will love her.Her left leg is marked EWilkin up near the cloth. The 1960 is likely up in the leg seam. The "in" of Wilkin is hard to see.She is wearing vintage clothes.Please see pic #10 as on her left side of her face she has a mark that should fade with some acne cream and time in the sun. Her hair combs over that as shown in pic #11.Speaking of sun, we have none on this snowy day so some pics may not seem bright.Vinyl is soft and supple.
