Description: Vintage wall cross with micro-mosaics set inside nickel frame. ROMA. MICRO-MOSAICS. MIXED COLORS. NICKEL FRAME. This vintage micro-mosaic wall cross measures about 4.75" x almost 3". There is a hanging loop attached at the top. I believe the frame is nickel. The cross is relatively heavy, at 57.5 grams. The reverse is marked ROMA. There is a paper sticker price tag on reverse marked a simple "30.000". I believe this is Euros. The vintage micro-mosaic is a mixture of black, orange, yellow, green and white, with a little red. The micro-mosaics are 100% intact, firmly in place. NOTE: I would highly recommend great care/caution be taken if cleaning is attempted. There appears to be vintage residual glue/adhesive around the micro-mosaics. Heavy/rough cleaning could damage the micro-mosaics, knocking some pieces out of position. This may be one of those vintage items that is best left in its current state, bearing the mark of time. It is quite beautiful in its current state.
