Description: Generally good cosmetic condition and complete bare stand with parts as shown - needs a good clean. It has working pinions for coarse focus and condenser height adjust. The thumb-wheels are nice and straight, however, the fine focus mechanism is gummed up with hardened lubricant, but this is normal for a Bactil of this age and is an easy fix. This is a 1955 Watson Bactil binocular stand #117949 that was received with binocular unit with collimation issues and is therefore being broken for parts. l have various other parts available from this instrument - see rest of my listings. The item is essentially a heavy iron casting hence postage cost and will be well wrapped and shipped by Royal Mail. Thanks for looking.
