Description: This auction is for a used Vintage Whitney Maker Saratoga Wyo. - 14" Saddle - Heiser FenderMarking on the saddle - look at the pictures Used western saddle - I have not cleaned it up - He had visited Saratoga several times on summer vacations and in 1921 decided to locate and engage in business here. He purchased the W. C. Edwards saddle and harness shop - fenders I think they have been replaced with Heiser ( one is marked and the other not) stirrups are the old wooden ones with galvanized wrap - wool or pading on the under side is in fair condition - rope keeper is missing - It has a 3-way rigging - skirt has leather wrap or braided - leather shows it age (but still good and usable with little cleaning and oiling) - Whitney worked at Miles City before he bought his own shop - Saddle has a lot of histery - look at pictures for measurments. Actual weight 28 lbs. 4.0 oz. This was a estate auction find. LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES FOR CONDITION AND ANY DEFECTS. Scuffs and scratches present.
