Description: This is a very special Wilcox Crittenden Gimbaled compass I've kept in my personal collection for a number of years. This stands out amongst the other listings as the bracket is original and very hard to find. Gimbal on both axis are very smooth and rotates without hesitation. Sadly, I will never have this on the boat and should go to a new home. Excellent compass that makes for a neat conversation piece. Compass needs fluid.
