Description: A unique vintage women's hat, in shimmery black and silver woven straw, trimmed with black netting. It is a structured circular band, that sits on the top of the head, covered in black netting with flocked dot trim. A large bow trims the band in the front. Sits fairly high on the head. No size tag or brand, other than “Union Made in the USA.” Interior circumference is about 18 ½ inches. The cap doesn't fit tightly to the head,and might need to be pinned into place. It is shallow and should fit everyone, maybe depending on hairstyle. Depending on how far forward you wear it, the mesh would cover the forehead and eyes. I believe this is from the mid 50s – it is in very good condition, some tears in the netting that aren't noticeable when worn since it is such an open mesh. A unique addition to a vintage outfit.
