Vintage Wood Beads Jaymar Humpty Dumpty Toy Figure U.S.A. 1930s

Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. As you probably remember from your childhood, this is Humpty Dumpty. Humpty is made from wood except for the collar that is made from green felt and the elastic string that holds all of the parts together. His face was stenciled and was not completely done. Humpty Dumpty has an egg shaped body. He is wearing a green hat. On the bottom of his foot it states "Made in U.S.A.". He was made by Jaymar. He is 4-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" wide x approximately 1-1/2" deep. He is from the 1930s. The rack is not included. It is for display only. Humpty Dumpty was used through the years. His elastic string is stretched and worn. I am including the hook that allows Humpty to hang more evenly. There are a couple of paint nicks and use marks. There is a factory popped bubble in the paint at the front left leg opening that was done during manufacture. This can be seen in picture #8. It is magnified. The collar is a bit wrinkled. It is harder to find this piece with the collar intact. As I mentioned above, his face stencil is a bit light in spots. This was done during manufacture. Please see my pictures.
