Description: WELCOME!Up for grabs is this gorgeous pair of vintageWOVEN GOLD SHOULDER BAGS BY WALBORG AND GANSONThese purses are perfect for your evening wear wardrobe. There are two included in this listing. The first one is the older of the two and is a lovely, shimmery crocheted or knitted purse with a gold chain strap. It’s made in Italy by Walborg. It has a snap closure and there may have been a mirror in the inside pocket at one time but I don’t know for sure—it’s not there now. This purse measures 10 1/2” wide and is 6 1/2” tall. There is a pocket inside (there may have been a mirror at on time but there isn’t one there now. It has a snap closure and there is some fraying of the fabric inside around the top part of the snap. There is a 14” drop and the chain strap is 29 1/2” long.The Ganson of San Francisco bag also measures 10 1/2” wide and is 7 1/4” tall. The bottom measures 2” across. It has a basket weave and zips all the way across, with a zippered pocket inside. It has an about a 20” drop and could be used as a crossbody bag. The strap is about 46 1/2” long from end to end. Each end is knotted. The zipper has a decorative tag that says Ganson and there is a gold Ganson plate inside.FINE DETAILS: All sizes are USA Standard.
