Description: SUMMARY: A very nice condition Vintage WW2 Swiss Oriosa AS 1260 calibre Gents Wrist Watch 1945The watch is in full working order, recently cleaned and serviced and keeping good time with a two year mechanical warranty. THE DIAL: 99% mint, the satin cream dial with raised gold Arabic numerals and in bright condition, signed Oriosa. The dial with gold hands and seconds hand. Diameter is 27 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition. THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with three quarter plate and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with hairspring and lever escapement, 15 jewels and stamped AS 1260 THE CASE: 85% mint, the chrome and steelcase measures an impressive 33 mm and 40 mm to end of lugs. The two piece case in good condition, and rear cover closes nice and tightly, with pitting and wear marks. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine period antique in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please note, the magnified electronic images show detail much greater than would be visible with the naked eye.
