It is extremely heavy - weighing in at 1 lb. 11 oz. It has three levels of severity. It could be a horse or small draft horse size bit. Inside bar measurement is approximately 4 1/2". Overall length is 8 3/4". There is no curb chain present. It is in very usable condition or would make a great home decor piece.
