Description: Zenith Defy Subsea Date 1960’s This is a rare Zenith Defy Subsea model with a sunset orange dial from approx.1965. Everything on the watch is original and unpolished. The watch’s functions work very well and the automatic movement runs strong. The sub-dial has some wear to it as is common with dials of this era. The bracelet is in great condition. The bracelet has a fair amount of stretch. The dial is unique as the initial 1960’s Zenith Defy models do not have the ‘Defy’ written on the dial as do the later base model Defy’s and future Subsea Defy model successors in the following years. The case and bezel shape is so beutiful and has so much personality. The silhouette of Zenith’s Defy model is timeless. The Diameter of the Zenith’s case is 38 mm.
