Description: Vintage Zenith Model H-500 Trans-Oceanic radio that is in good working condition. Once the tubes warm up, the sound and reception on this unit is excellent. I was able to get reception on the AM band only. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly but the dial indicator is not working and needs tobe restrung. All of the push buttons operate well. Antenna extends the full length and is in good condition. The interior of the radio is very clean with no evidence of rust or battery corrosion. The power cord is a bit stiff, but in good condition. The cloth body is worn in a few spots, see photos, but overall the condition is very good. The dial plastic cover has a scratched/cloudy spot around the 150 spot on the dial. Great looking, working Trans-Oceanic radio that was made in 1953 to add to your collection. In order to ensure safe delivery the radio will be double boxed.
