Description: Virgil Cantini was an American artist prominent in several fields especially for enamel work. This is a signed MCM boomerang shaped ceramic shallow bowl measuring about 12” x 10”. It is made of very heavy clay weighing over 3 pounds. It stands on three feet and about 2” off the ground. It has a beautiful blue color glossy glaze with the outline of a black cat relaxing on top. I see several glaze slips done in the making and two glaze chips on the rim. I have pointed these out in the photos. A few of the photos show white areas of reflection- these do not appear on the item. It will be securely packaged and insured.
