Description: Please take a look at this darling 1954 Vogue Ginny PL walker all dressed for a fun outing on the ice. Ginny is an excellent condition, painted lash walker Ginny with her original, curly dark brunette wig in twisty braids with curled bangs. She has a working walking mechanism and brown eyes that only need your gentle assistance to sleep, and there are no scratches to her eyelids. Her painted lashes and brows are light auburn brown, the brows more visible than her lashes. She has even, highly blushed cheeks with no scuffs. She can stand on her own, has all her fingers, is nicely strung and can hold all poses. She is appropriately marked "Ginny Vogue Dolls Inc. Pat. Pend." on her back which dates her to exactly 1954. She is also marked on her neck "Vogue". Her body has no stains, odors, seam splits and is a remarkably wonderful example of a classic, 1954 doll in her marvelous outfit. This Ginny will come to you dressed in an immaculate, excellent condition outfit from 1954 tagged with a Medford Mass. Vogue tag: a green velour body suit and tie-on skating skirt trimmed with elegant silver rickrack and novelty trim and festooned with real rabbit fur. It closes in back with the original hook and eye closure with no rust. There are no rubs to the velour and no loss of rabbit fur trim. She wears her original white nylon socks and white suede cloth ice skates in excellent, near mint condition. She retains her original rabbit fur hat with intact wide chinstrap. I have added new green satin bows to her braids.
