Description: VINTAGE 1930 POSTCARD OF MAIN STREET, LOOKING NORTH, IN GREENSBURG, KS ... RARE EARLY SHOT OF A GAS STATION WITH OVERHANG AT LEFT. This postcard is in pristine condition, direct from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982. The card is scarce for 3 reasons: 1) its absolutely Mint condition, 2) records show this particular card has only sold once in the last dozen or so years, and 3) the rare appearance of an early gas station in a postcard. We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays. We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario.
