Description: This listing is for an unused string of Christmas Garland from Bradford Novelty. It is an early set, from the 1960s. It was made in the USA. Later items from Bradford Novelty were made overseas in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The strand is complete, although there is one broken angel. I had to look close, but I found one that just had the head left attached to the chain. The color has darkened; it was sold as Gold with Embedded Glitter, but it has darkened over time to a darker color. It is light weight, and the angels and musical notes are fixed to the string. THe package still has the garland factory wound onto the card, and still has some of it's original cellophane. The card has some age darkening, as well. The garland was sold as "unbreakable", which of course, is no longer true. Compared to the thin glass ornaments of the day, it was much hardier, but the plastic, over the years, becomes brittle and slightly fragile.
