Description: This is a pretty vintage brooch from the artist Boris Chaliapin. It comes in gently used condition. The brooch is made of brass tone metal in the shape of a sabra cactus set with a blue Negev stone oval cabochon. Boris Chaliapin was an American artist that lived from 1904 - 1979. According to the Jewish Museum website, this brooch was made in 1965 and is made of electroplated metal and Negev stone. Measures 2 3/4" long and is unmarked. Comes in the new teal giftbox pictured.
